About Michelle ‘Shell’ Shaw

Hi, I’m Michelle aka Shell, the founder of Balanced For Growth, and I’m deeply passionate about helping business owners take control of their financial destiny. I started this business with a mission to empower entrepreneurs to truly understand their numbers, so they can make smarter decisions and grow both personally and professionally.

With over 15 years of hands-on experience in finance and business strategy, I’ve worked with business owners across a wide range of industries. I hold a Cert IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting, I’m a registered BAS Agent with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board, and I’m an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. I’ve also earned Platinum certification as a Strategic Bookkeeper and regularly engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to stay at the forefront of industry changes. On top of that, I’m a Xero Advisor and Bronze Partner, ensuring my clients always receive the best, most current advice.

But what sets me apart is my passion for seeing business owners thrive. My approach is rooted in empathy, education, and partnership. For me, balancing your books is just a small part of the service; I’m here to help you scale your business, manage your time, and live the life you’ve always envisioned.
